In addition to this show, he is probably best known for his role as John Larroquette’s cousin in The People vs. Larry Flynt and also for his role in the hit TV series Grace Under Fire.

In 1982 he made a short film in which he played several parts and a year later he took the role of Dan Connor on Roseanne. It was through this role, that he gained his first major movie role as Steve Holt in the 1989 film The Fabulous Baker Boys.
