The 15 Rarest Video Game Consoles

The most rare video game consoles are certainly no joke at all.

They can cost over a thousand dollars but you’d better have some deep pockets if you’re thinking about buying one. Some of them start at over a hundred thousand dollars.

Even more madness with the launch of the Nintendo Z.

Anyway, if you’re into game consoles, I think you’ll enjoy this list of top 15 rarest video game consoles.

I don’t think that’s the one that they were looking for.

The 15 Rarest Video Game Consoles

The Nintendo has launched a new line of controllers and accessories, named the Nintendo Labo. The Labo is a DIY kit that can transform into five distinct DIY Kit, each of which offers a unique play experience.

The rarest video game consoles are the Atari 2600, Intellivision, MSX, Sega Genesis, Nintendo Entertainment System and Gameboy.

15. PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition – ($1200)

The 20th-Anniversary Edition of the PlayStation 4 is the rarest video game console in the world.

This rare console was specifically made to look like an original PlayStation 1 and we think it looks awesome! The system comes with a PS1 controller, a copy of the classic PlayStation games, and the option to add in any PS4 game for a total value of $399.99.

If you liked the game, you got a taste for the next version of the game – Star Wars: Rogue Squadron X-Wing.

The console had its own unique design. It was like a PS1 but it had a PS3 style dash panel, and it had a new sound at boot up, which was reminiscent of the PS1. It was also the only console to have its own theme which gave the console a different look.

14. Seaman Christmas Dreamcast – ($2,500)

The Seaman Christmas Dreamcast is basically a Seaman Christmas version of the Dreamcast that can play both the Seaman Christmas game and Seaman Christmas 2.

I am not sure if this console was manufactured in a translucent red color and only 850 were made in Japan, which made getting one extremely difficult.

The PlayStation had some problems in the UK and consequently it was sold out.

So if you were to go and get one now, you’d be looking at paying somewhere around $2,500, which is a small price to pay to own one of the rarest video game consoles of all time!

13. Cuphead Xbox One X – ($3,000)

The cuphead xbox one x was designed to launch in Los Angeles in 2017, they designed it to have a launch event with cuphead in it, this is what they showed up to.

They were all given away as prizes, because there were so few of them made.

It’s still cheaper than a new XBox One, but with a value of around $3,000 you’ll still save a lot of money on the original hardware.

~~~LOL~~~
[Pun]: The other things I was talking about were a couple of fun activities outside of the school.
12. Beatles Rock Band Xbox 360 – ($3,600)
It’s a special moment in Beatles history.
A game console was sold at eBay to raise money for medical treatment for children in Africa.
It’s not to say that all hand-painted Xboxes came out as winners, however. A handful were destroyed after they were judged to be not good enough to be put out on the market.
You had to buy All You Need Is Love in stores though and those stores would send you emails that were worth points.
But if you’re one of the people that own one of these consoles, then you could be looking at getting something around the region of $600 for it if you were to sell it privately!
11. Pokémon 2009 World Championships DSI ($4,000)
I’m not sure why a person would say that, but a person is a person.
Nintendo has given out free Nintendo DSi’s to lucky fans at special Nintendo events over the years.
The Nintendo DSi featured Pokémon decals that were changed year on year.
For those who can afford to own a car model from this generation and are willing to add one to their garage, a brand new used Lexus is a must.
If you’re a serious Pokémon collector, and you’re looking for a Nintendo Game Boy, there’s a chance you can pick up a Nintendo Game Boy for dirt cheap!
10. 24K Gold-Dipped PlayStation 3 – ($5,000)
The tenth rarest game console is the 24,000-ounce, solid gold PlayStation 3, which anyone willing to shell out $5,000 can purchase.
This is the ultimate gold version of the PlayStation 3, so you can imagine the reaction other people get when they see your PS3. They are going to know that you have the best console.
One of the five was made, it’s a bit rough and its missing the head but its still very fine for the price.
9. Maziora Dreamcast – ($6,000)
This rare console is only found in a few museums and was produced in a mere 500 units.
Maziora was a Japanese car company and they made cars that could change color depending on which way you looked at it or which way it was moving in the light.
Its official color is dark blue and it is named after a blue flower that resembles a purple flower.
The motorcycle helmet key chain is a great souvenir of the trip to Japan, and the dream cast sticker will be printed with your message.
Not really. I could have bought those in bulk for a lower price.
8. Pokémon World Championships Nintendo DSI XL – ($7,000)
This is the Nintendo DSI XL, a portable version of the game which was made for Nintendo’s DSI console.
Pokémon was one of the first games to be released on the Nintendo Switch. This is one of the rarest of all Pokémon products.
The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Go will have the Pokémon World Championships logo on its console, but will not feature any other customization.
Nintendo is still selling their gaming consoles even after the Wii U and the Wii sold out pretty quickly. It’s still a great gaming console for those who don’t want to use an Xbox or a Playstation.
The list of the Top-50 results will be available later this month.
7.  The 10 Million Model PS1 – ($7,500)
The Playstation was one of the rarest of the rarest and the 10million was to ensure that more were sold.
Sony PlayStation decided to release the limited edition of PlayStation 1 because they want to celebrate their sale over the 10 million units.
– The system uses a powerful Nvidia GeForce 8800GT GPU. The GPU supports DirectX 10.0.
– The CPU is rated at 2.6GHz, and the total system memory at 3GB.
– Also, the system has two hard disk drives: a 7200rpm 160GB drive, and a 5400rpm 120GB drive.
– The disc drive can read Blu-ray discs, which we don’t have confirmed at this time.
This was definitely the most prized version, but there were three of them. These were the first examples made in 1964, and all were made for James Miller. As well as the limited edition of 1,000, there were also two copies made for James Miller.
6. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Xbox One X – ($8,300)
It does look quite nice! There is a lot of detail to it. I have never seen such a console before!
It is one of a kind and was auctioned on eBay, Microsoft is using the money to help raise $30,000 for Best Friends, an organization that helps pets recover from dangerous situations.
There isn’t much to say about the console as it might cost somewhere in the region of $8,300 now, to be honest.
I’m starting with my favorite part, the graphics. I love how detailed everything is and how smooth everything moves.
5. Lara Croft Gem-Studded Xbox 360 – ($11,000)
It comes in fifth place because it has only a single
Gem.
When you’re thinking about how much money you can spend outfitting your entire apartment in a game console, this is as good of a deal as you can get. The console runs a cool $1,200.
It contains over 11,000 sapphires and only a few consoles were ever made, making them extremely rare and exclusive to a select few.
Lara Croft fans have plenty of $11,000 burning a hole in their pockets, and they want to find the one that really suits them.
4. Rose Gold PS4 & Xbox One – ($13,699)
This design is definitely the most stunning looking machine I’ve seen from Samsung.
This video game console is the best designed one for gamers who like luxury and the design is amazing! The console is so stylish with its high quality game cartridges.
Both of the consoles have the ability to play games, download games, and have the ability to turn on the system. However, the Xbox One has a 500g white disc while the PS4 has a 400g black disc.
Those of us who are into video games don’t always have hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on video game consoles, but if there are video game consoles worth that much, we don’t have to buy them.
3. Atari Cosmos – ($18,853)
Despite having no real public presence, the Atari Cosmos was a huge success. Atari sold tens of thousands of machines and the device was even adopted by the United States Navy as a means of training their pilots.
But by the time the Atari Cosmos was officially released to the public in 1980, the technology had changed.
The Atari Cosmos shipped without built-in disk drives and instead relied on tape storage.
The console launch event was just before the official release of the game and the company pulled the console and units from retailers leaving the 250 units unsold.
While never officially announced, the Cosmos was supposedly going to be the Nintendo 64’s answer to the Playstation. It was supposed to be out before the Nintendo 64, but Nintendo cancelled the project two months before it was launched. The reason? No one wanted a system with an analog controller.
The best way to get rich is to find a really rare and really valuable copy of a really old book.
So, yes, it’s possible to make money from it, but it’s really hard. So, with that in mind, we need to do what we can to help to prevent the books from being thrown away.
You say “if that would happen, they would have only thrown away the old books”.
2. Gold Legend of Zelda Game Boy Advance SP – ($20,000)
The second-most rare game console is the Golden Legend of Zelda Game Boy Advance SP.
It is a mini version of the Master Sword which is based on the same model. It was released on October 11, 2003.
Yeah, the limited edition Game Boy SP bundle was really cool, but the fact that you had to find the golden ticket was so frustrating.
This console is one of the most coveted consoles and it’s not every day you’re going to see someone rocking one of these.
1. Nintendo Wii Supreme – ($433,000)
Nintendo Wii is also the rarest console, in fact it is the one of the rarest video game consoles in the world.
We have a new record, the most expensive console is worth $433,000.
Nintendo’s new $99 Wii system is actually a little more than $100. It is covered in 2.5 kilogrammes of 22 carat white gold.
The Wii’s a standard model with black plastic on it. No, it doesn’t have built in speakers and it’s not a Game Cube.
And it’s the rarest video game console in the world, which would mean it’s probably worth more than your house.
Summary
We hope you enjoy our list of the 15 rarest video game consoles we’ve taken a look inside.
I don’t think so. The Xbox One was $400, so this is cheaper, I am still not too sure why I want one though.
We are currently evaluating the condition, it is believed to be a Game Boy Advance and is in a good condition given its age. It still has the original cartridge, which is a nice touch.
This is a quick summary of the 15 most rarest video game consoles.
