Favorite Quotes from Mike Myers

Mike Myers doesn’t consider himself a comedic actor. He doesn’t like to mix words, but he definitely admires comedic actors, and in particular, other actors who he admires who have made comedic performances.

A friend of mine who has a couple of kids was lamenting that even though he is happy to be a father he doesn’t know what he would do with kids all day. My friend then said that he would definitely like for his kids to grow up with an acting career.

The actor from the ‘Saturday Night Live’ series will be in Toronto to appear on the ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on December 31st.

If I were a complete stranger to Mike Myers, I’d say he was a highly intelligent, self-satisfied, self-deprecating, Canadian film actor, known for his comedies. But then I’d realise that these characters are really just masks that we use to interact with the world. I’d realise that all of us have a little Myers and a little Myers in us. And I’d wonder why I hadn’t realised this before.

I wanted to be an actor from a very young age. I thought that’s what it was. I just got a love for it. I would watch movies all the time. I would watch all the movies that I could. I was very very into it. I was kind of obsessed. That’s why I got into it.
