As a youth, Benjamin Hammond Haggerty spent a lot of time in the park where he developed his skill in playing the drums. At age 12 he began playing with his friend Tim, the son of a friend of his, and began their hip-hop collaboration “Macklemore and Ryan Lewis”.

He has collaborated with artists such as Ben Folds, Dan Wilson and The Lonely Island. He was also a judge at the Independent Music Awards and was featured in Billboard Magazine.
