5 Things You Need To Give Up To Be Successful

But at some point in our life there comes a time when we should focus on the skills and good habits that we should take away from our lives instead of adding more.

Well, but this is a very small thing.

Note that’sitting there’ is not ‘in a chair’.

The first thing is that we need to realize that we have to be prepared to fail more than we succeed. If it wasn’t so then the word success would mean being always successful.

5 Things You Need to Give Up to Be Successful

Yes I am aware of the things that are blocking the path to get where I want to go.

We have to give up those things that hold us back and stop us from being the full and complete person we were created to be. Here are some of those things you need to give up.

1. The Fear Of Failure

Dwelling in the past cannot do any good than causing more damage to the present and future altogether. Therefore, accept your past without regrets, your present with confidence and face the future without fear. Just like that, overcome the fear of failure too.

As long as you have a reason, you will find a way to do it.

Having failed as a teenager, many people assume that the person will fail at some point in life.

We all have fears, but if you are afraid of not succeeding then you will never succeed at all. You have to take responsibility and be the one who succeeds. Focus on yourself and stop worrying about what other people will say.

2. The Need For Others Approval

Lecrae said that he is a Christian and his job is to spread the word of God.

If we live for people’s acceptance, we will live with their ridicule.

But, when you make a mistake, you have to admit it and you have to be open about it. You have to own up to it and you have to learn not to make the same mistakes again. However, when you do make a mistake, you have to learn from it.

Don’t make the same mistake of the people who choose to sabotage their success. Instead of choosing a path that is too narrow, try to avoid the one that is too broad. Go for the second path, rather than the third.

But you should know how to tell the difference between them, because they both are bad habits that can be your downfall.

3. The Need To Be Always Perfect

We as humans believe in perfection, therefore we are perfect.

The most important achievement of life is to become more independent from the need to please everyone else, and the second most important is to learn to say “No!” to those things that make us unhappy.

If we want to be successful, we need to be comfortable with who we are. We need to embrace our flaws and learn to be authentic. That is the real beauty of life.
If you have a passion for writing and you want to be as successful as possible, your first step towards success is to start writing.
If you don’t believe me, ask someone who has been successful and they’re going to tell you that they were able to accomplish their desired goals and succeed by writing.

This is true. You need not deny your faults in order to be accepted by Christ.

4. Leaving It All On The Good Luck

Luck is nothing more, but just a preparation built on luck. You don’t need to wait for your lucky moments to come up, when you are ready and prepared to grab a good opportunity when you are presented.

Lucky people have a systematic approach to maximizing their opportunities. They prepare for their fortune and are open minded to new opportunities instead of being passive waiting for good fortune to come to them.

We’re here to be together and make sure this day goes off without a hitch. Be careful when making love.

5. Comparing Yourself With Others

This is a tricky one as we are all different.
We all have our own unique goals and we all have our own set of achievements. So, at times we end up having doubts that we have not made any progress at all.
And the more we talk to ourselves, the more we find ourselves comparing ourselves with other people. We start comparing ourselves to our friends and family. Or to how a person is doing in his/her life. Or how we should be. And so on.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
Compare yourself to where you are. That will give you much more joy.

You should not compare yourself with others. Instead, you should focus on yourself and try to improve.

When you can tell the truth is not to matter about what people will think of you…

Instead of just complaining about how difficult things are today, why not focus on all the things you accomplished and what you achieved in the past. You need to be able to see who you are and what you have achieved to be able to look at yourself and to appreciate all the great things you have done and are able to do.

Summary

It’s against the nature to give up things that are important for you. Therefore, the harder you fight to keep from losing them, the more important it becomes to overcome and create new things that are important in the long run.

The higher the mountain, the tougher it is to get there. The more you have lost to reach the top, the more you have to lose to keep climbing.

It is time to find the courage to take your life into your own hands and to live your life fully.
