Favorite Quotes from Brendan Schaub

With Big Ben Henderson and Shogun Rua’s recent comments on the UFC, it looks like it’s going to be a bumpy ride to the octagon for Schaub.

Well, I am not really sure if I agree with this statement. Even though he is one of the UFC’s main guys, the fighter he is most famous for, I am not sure if he is the top ranked fighter in the UFC, I think he is not. Maybe it is the other way around, but it is hard to say. I would say the guy right behind him in my opinion is Jon Jones.

Brendan Schaub’s cardio regime is nothing short of intense. He goes to the gym six or seven times a week and practices about seven hours a day. Aside from strength training he does weight lifting, calisthenics and cardio such as power walking, jogging and biking.

3 Motivational Lessons from Brendan Schaub

If you would like to start a career in mixed martial arts, I can tell you that the best way to get started is to find a coach who is willing to take a chance on you and gives you a fair shot.
If you want to achieve greatness, you have to develop a thick skin when it comes to criticism and rejection.
If you’re a competitor, you have to be willing to take risks to get ahead of your competition.

1. You Are the Only Person Who Can Bring Yourself Happiness

Don’t worry, you are not alone, happiness is in your reach, nobody can take it away from you, and you don’t have to do anything for it to come. Happiness is a state of mind.

2. Pain is Inevitable in Life

Sometimes I wonder if living is a prerequisite of suffering…that we all must suffer. Ask for help when you need it because others are more understanding than you could ever imagine.

People are so worried about the people around them that they don’t focus on their own lives. But the best memories are made when they are enjoying themselves and not worrying about things.

3. Anything Can Be Accomplished These Days

Yes, it is perfectly possible to chase your dream if you put your mind to it. You can do anything you want to do if you get the motivation and perseverance.
