I am not into making political statements, although my record has its own kind of political statements like “I used to smoke crack” and I think that’s very interesting. That’s very, very interesting to me because that’s a statement.
The name of the podcast, ‘Uncrated’, originates from the term, “Uncrated” which is the name used by music journalists to denote how a record is not yet released.
‘Uncrated’ is a podcast for musicians, industry outsiders and music enthusiasts who want to know more about the music industry and music business.
After signing with Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music, West released his first solo project in March 2011 titled ‘Fear of God’. He had released the project under his first alias, Kid Cudi.
The album was expected to be released on January 20th, 2012, but it became available for purchase on iTunes on January 9th, 2012. As I’ve mentioned before, when I was growing up, I was a huge fan of the DC Comics’ Justice League. You know them all but the only one I really cared about was the Flash. He was such a badass, but he wasn’t a typical superhero, so I loved that about him.
