No, not all movies do well even the ones you’d most expect.
In order to get more profit, you must try to make your movies a little more popular and get more people to attend them, which is called marketing.
So, in order to help you decide which movie to watch next. We’ve put together a list of the 25 highest-grossing movies of all time.

25. Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Grossed: $1.123 Billion
The Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie is currently number one with $1.123 billion dollars.
The movie is an adaptation of the Transformers toy line and was directed by Micheal Bay.
The battle continues between Autobots and Decepticons as they are fighting each other to collect powerful technology from their homeland that crashed on Earth’s Moon.
The new live action Transformers movie is the third in the series and follows on from Revenge of the Fallen.
In 2011, another film based on Dreamworks’ The Prince Of Egypt was released. Like the first two films, The Prince Of Egypt was based on the book Exodus: Gods and Kings by Pulitzer prize winning author, Martin Nachum, in which Moses is depicted as a rebel leader.
Some of the stars of the film include Shia Lebeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro and Tyrese Gibson.
24. Captain Marvel
Grossed: $1.128 Billion
Captain Marvel is the eleventh and final chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will be the first superhero film in the MCU to not feature any of the members of the Avengers.
According to BoxOffice Mojo, so far the film has made $1.128 billion in total worldwide box office.
Filmed at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois, the film follows a young man who is haunted by his past as a child prodigy.
The movie, which also stars Mackenzie Davis, Jamie Chung and Richard Jenkins, is based on one of the most-famous real-life bank robberies by the crew of the Aryan Brotherhood.
The movie is about a female lead character who has special powers, and how she uses those powers to fight another race, called the Kree.
Captain Marvel has had a great week, as it reached $12.1 million on its opening day.

This movie has become one of Sony’s biggest hits of all time. It’s not fair to say no one expected it to be this successful. The studio is happy, and so are the fans.
The film marks the return of director Jon Watts, who was also involved with Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Captain America: Civil War has been the highest-grossing film of 2016. It was made by Disney and was released in May 2016.
Captain America is a Marvel Comics character and is the sequel to the first two Captain America movies (The First Avenger and The Winter Solider).
After a disagreement between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, they broke into two factions. One lead by Tony Stark and the other by Steve Rogers.
The film was produced by Marvel Studios. The rights to distribute the film were bought from Walt Disney Studios, Inc.
Robert Downey Jr. will be playing Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson who portrays Black Widow in the film. Tony Mackie who is playing Spider-man in the film will not have a solo movie.
The film is a blockbuster, and it’s the highest-grossing film of the year!

The Minions movie is the twentieth highest-grossing movie of all time. It has grossed over $1.159 billion dollars since 2015.
It’s a 3D computer-animated comedy film, which is a spin-off to the Despicable Me series.
A lot of the characters, including the major characters, have a lot of the voices of the actors who played the Minions.
The film has become a huge hit, it is the third highest-grossing animated film of all time and is one of the few animated films to gross more than $1 Billion worldwide!
The film had a production budget of $184 million and grossed over $904 million worldwide.

In nineteenth place, we have Iron Man 3 – that’s the new movie.
This was the first film in the Jurassic Park series in which no dinosaur made an appearance.
The Avengers are out of action for a while after the events related to the Avengers, which is caused by The Mandarin, a terrorist leader, who wants to destroy everything in the United States.
This film is a part of the Iron Man series.
This is the seventh film of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

18. The Fate of the Furious

It was also criticised for being too violent and having too many car crashes, which left many people upset.
The eighth Fast and Furious film in the franchise will be directed by Felix Gary Grey and starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. It will be released in 2019.

“Incredibles 2” is an American computer-animated superhero film that’s grossed over $1.2 billion dollars.
Brad Bird, Pixar’s director, has made this animation, which is very funny and entertaining.
The film centers on a group of superheroes who are known as “The Parr Family.” The family tries to regain the publics trust after failing to prevent a child’s kidnapping, and a murder that occurred because of the kidnapping. They will have to prove themselves to the public, and prove that they shouldn’t be punished for their actions.
The movie first screened in Los Angeles on June 5, 2018. It got positive reviews from critics who praised the animation and humour.
The film made over $182.7 million in the US alone during its opening weekend.
The movie also was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film in the 92nd Academy Awards.

The Avengers is an American superhero film. It is the sequel to the 2012 film The Avengers.
It was directed by Joss Whedon, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The Avengers are tasked with defeating the evil Ultron, alien intelligence with a desire to destroy all human life.
Also, people are excited to see the cast members Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson and to see Don Cheadle.

The film is about a secret American government agency that protects people around the world and is an ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics.

Jurassic World is the story of a company that specializes in creating dinosaur hybrids. The park was opened years ago and it has proven to be a very successful and lucrative endeavor.
