Early Life
Paul Raffi Abrahamian is a Turkish born Iranian American, and his parents are both of Turkish and Iranian descent. He was born and raised in Tarzana, California. Paul is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and he received his doctorate in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
He is a graduate of Pepperdine University. Abrahamian has taught religion in public schools in Los Angeles. He has been the Coordinator of the California Department of Education’s Office for Christian Studies since 1979.
Career
In the parent series, Abrahamian was the runner-up behind Lina Gersu in the house in 2011, and was the winner in the 2012 and 2018 seasons. In the 2016 season he won the competition, after which he returned for the 2017 season, losing out to Samir El Mesri. In the 2017 spin-off, Abrahamian won the competition.
He left the Jury Room on Day 99 while the other finalists went to Exile Island. At Final Tribal Council, he received 33.3% of the jury votes and was crowned the runner-up of the season and received a total of $50,000.
He was unanimously voted the winner of the Battle Back. He won Head of Household three times and Vetoed five times. He was also the runner-up of the season. He was the first Battle Back winner not to receive the Power of Veto.
Because of this, a lot of money was found in his home.
