He was born Quavious Keyate Marshall Jr. on January 4, 1992, in College Park, Georgia. As a teenager, he used the stage name Quavo. He and his cousins, Offset and Takeoff, originally started a group called “Triumph” in 1998. They released two albums, Before My Nail Color Changes and Victory Lap, before they changed the name to Migos and released the album, “No Label 1: The Autobiography of Quavo,” in 2008, which won a Grammy for Best Rap Album.
